There is a real difference between equipment hire and event sound. Hire is speakers delivered to a venue. Event sound is a system chosen for the space and the audience, placed correctly, tuned on site, with someone running it all night.

The most common mistake: volume instead of coverage
A room where people at the back cannot hear speeches is rarely solved by turning up the volume. The fix is almost always placement, not power: more sound points at lower level, instead of a few loud ones at the front.
Indoors versus outdoors
Outdoors there are no walls to reflect sound, so you need more points and wider coverage, plus a power source, wind, humidity, noise limits and longer setup times. An outdoor event is planned differently from day one.

The venue says it has a system. Do we need you?
Sometimes not. A built-in system can be enough for background music and speech, but in most cases it is not enough for live music, a show or a large crowd. Check what is actually there before paying twice.
What if something fails mid-event?
We bring backup equipment. That is why the truck always leaves with more than the event needs on paper.
