Sound for ceremonies, schools and institutions

Sound for school, municipal and institutional ceremonies: narrator and choir microphones, playback, LED screens and an engineer for the whole ceremony.

A ceremony is not a party with speeches. Most of the time it is quiet, and in the quiet every fault is heard: a humming microphone, a song starting in the wrong version, a child in the choir nobody can hear.

A school courtyard at dusk, rows of plastic chairs, a low stage and speakers on tripods

01 / 03Setup

The courtyard is ready before the first class walks out.

Speakers that cover the last rows, cables kept out of the walkways, power checked. Setup windows at schools are short, so we plan backwards from the ceremony time.

02 / 03Precision

Every narrator, every song, every video, on cue.

The running order sits next to the mixer. Playback is ready in order, microphones are set for each narrator and the choir, and the engineer knows what comes next.

03 / 03The moment

And when the quiet moment comes, it stays quiet.

A minute of silence, a soft song, slides on the screen. No hum, no feedback, no searching for files. That is all you need from ceremony sound.

What is different about ceremony sound

  • Speech first: every word from the narrator must be clear, even in the last row of an open courtyard.
  • Many microphones: narrators, choir, musicians and speakers, with clean changeovers.
  • Playback in order: songs and videos from several classes, prepared before the ceremony.
  • Real silence: a system that hums during a minute of silence is a fault everyone remembers.

School ceremonies

Memorial Day, Independence Day, graduations and holiday ceremonies. Many of our enquiries come from school coordinators, so the process is simple: send the running order and the files, and we take care of the rest.

Municipal and institutional ceremonies

Larger ceremonies need a full technical production: stage, lighting, screen and coordination with other teams on site. Institutions →

Frequently asked questions

How early should we book for ceremony season?

As early as possible. Around Memorial Day, Independence Day and the end of the school year, every school in the area needs sound at the same hours.

Do you attend the dress rehearsal?

Yes, when possible. The rehearsal is where you find that the choir microphone is too far or a song is the wrong version. Better to find out the day before.

Are you insured? The school asks for documents.

Yes. The business is insured with the required approvals, and all equipment is ours. You receive the documents before the ceremony.
